The Studio

Riccio Vidaurre Design is a Los Angeles based, full-service interior design studio dedicated exclusively to projects of the highest caliber.

Founded by Principals Samantha Riccio and Ariane Vidaurre, both of whom are classically trained in interior architecture and fine arts. The studio is the culmination of nearly two decades of experience at some of the world’s most esteemed design firms. The duo came together fueled by their shared passion and complementary expertise, united by the desire to create interiors that are uniquely their own.

Their proclivity for refinement combined with a daring flair for the eccentric, result in spaces that are both sophisticated and captivating.

Our Mission

We believe in creating beautifully curated interiors that are timeless yet push the boundaries of conventional design, celebrating the individuality of each client.

With a meticulous approach to every project, we pay attention to even the smallest details, ensuring that every element contributes to the overall harmony and beauty of the space.

We are committed to exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional results that enrich the lives of our clients.

Approach

At Riccio Vidaurre Design, we embrace a wide spectrum of styles, from the deeply rooted traditions of classic architecture to the adventurous edges of modern design.

Every project is grounded in meticulous historical, contextual, and technical research, ensuring that each intervention is thoughtful and enduring. We collaborate closely with our clients to create interiors that are personal, inventive, and unexpected spaces that feel authentic, layered, and alive.

Ariane Vidaurre

Ariane Vidaurre, an esteemed interior architect and fine-arts–trained designer, stands among the industry’s foremost voices, redefining high-end design with authenticity, artistry, and daring subtlety. Guided by an unrelenting creative instinct, she has always been drawn to beauty in all its forms. She first explored fashion design, then painting, before realizing her true passion lay in shaping the spaces people inhabit. She would lie awake envisioning floor plans, sketching late into the night—an early sign of the career that awaited her. In 2005, she earned her degree in Interior Architecture and embarked on a path that would unite her love of art, architecture, and storytelling.

Her career began under the mentorship of some of the most visionary figures in contemporary design, including Kelly Wearstler and Stephen Sills, whose contrasting approaches to form and atmosphere helped shape her own perspective. Today, Ariane brings that depth of experience to Riccio Vidaurre Design, the Los Angeles–based studio she co-founded, where interiors are approached as living works of art—refined, expressive, and deeply personal.

Ariane’s work is defined by an avant-garde spirit and a fearless use of color and texture. Her spaces balance whimsy and sophistication, blending eras and influences to create something wholly unexpected. Each project is an exploration of individuality—an elevated expression of her clients’ own personalities, interpreted through her daring, imaginative lens.
